Product Overview

  • A gorgeous native to the east coast where we are, Wild geranium comes back year after year from the roots and is in full bloom by April all the way through June. The soft purple flowers are gorgeous en masse and with the way this plant spreads it won't take long. Spreading by rhizome, as well as its crane bill like seed pods that when mature burst, sending seeds feet away from the spike.

  • This plant will move! Best planted with late season bloomers and plants that will help ease the summer stress. It does best in part shade but in the right conditions can thrive in full sun. Long used as a medicinal plant by certain Native Indian tribes, the root is considered an astringent which can be used to stem bleeding as well as treat burns and hemorrhoids. It is also used to make a tea for nerve pains and toothaches.
